We feel strongly that enhancement drugs and other practices do not belong in sport, and we fully support the World Anti-Doping Code.

Quality Assurance

At OTE Sports we believe in not only using the highest quality ingredients to make what are arguably the best technical sports nutrition products on the market, be we also ensure they are made to the highest manufacturing standards. Our production facilities are certificated to BRC Global Standards for Food Safety; operate a Quality Management System based on the principles of ISO 9001-2008 and GMP guidelines. Our manufacturing facilities are also Informed Sport accredited.

In order to eliminate the risk of any banned contaminates being present in OTE Sports products, no ingredients or substances that are knowingly on the WADA banned lost are handled or stored in our production facilities.

All products are batch coded and have full ingredient traceability. Retained samples are kept throughout the product’s shelf life.

Confident in Supplying Quality Products that are Safe to Consume

With the ingredient and manufacturing controls we have in place, OTE Sports are confident that there is no risk of any OTE Sports product being contaminated with a WADA banned ingredient or substance. No OTE Sports product has EVER tested positive for a WADA banned ingredient or substance. This gives us the confidence to supply World and Olympic Champions and numerous athletes who are regularly subjected to doping controls.

Batch Testing

Although our products are manufactured with stringent controls and are not formulated with any ingredient or substance on the WADA list, we understand that some athletes, teams and federations would still prefer to use products that have been specifically tested for WADA banned ingredients and substances.

OTE Sports offer products across our range that have been specifically tested by LGC (the same laboratory as Informed Sport) for ingredients or substances banned by WADA from our online store. Simply choose the ‘Batch Tested’ option on the specific product page when ordering.

Any team or federation who require WADA tested product should highlight this requirement at the time of order by email, phone or in person.

Batch testing should be seen as an additional quality control measure, OTE Sports do everything possible to eliminate the risk of contamination at source and implement a strict manufacturing protocol. Informed Sport

The Informed Sport programme provides assurance that products have been tested for a wide range of substances prohibited in sport. In addition to batch testing, we have also certified the following products under the Informed Sport programme: Energy Gels, Caffeine Energy Gels, Duo Bars, Whey Protein Recovery drinks, Hydro Tabs, Protein Bars and Super Carbs, with more products to follow.

Every batch of these products are tested for banned substances under the Informed Sport programme. Products undergo rigorous testing using ISO 17025 accredited methods to provide the highest level of assurance for athletes.
